There are various methods of opening and closing a pull up banner… Most of them may work, but eventually may cause damage to the mechanism or the advertising skin. Some of us may call it a roll up and others a pull up.

There is no difference… it rolls while you pull or you pull while it rolls. So pull it up or roll it down, but whichever way you look at it, it remains a cost effective marketing tool!

The easiest and most effective way of opening and closing is by approaching it from the rear! What you may ask? Yes that’s right, the rear.

By doing this you have access to all the necessary viewpoints to ensure that your roll up banner will last a long time.

The process: Opening the pull up banner.

• Remove your banner from the canvas bag and place it on a flat surface.
• Fold out the legs from underneath to make it sturdy.
• Remove the folded pole from the aluminium base.
• Fit the erected pole into the designated hole on the base and make sure it has clicked in completely. This will ensure that your banner stays in an upright position.
• By facing the rear of the banner; pull the banner up and lock it into the pole-clip provided

The process: Closing the pull up.

• Facing the rear, unlock the pole-clip and let the spring mechanism pull the banner skin down into the base slowly. Ensure that the banner skin doesn’t touch the sides of the base.
• Remove and fold the pole into 3 pieces and store back into the base.
• Fold the legs into the base.
• Place the roll up banner back into the canvas bag.
